Students offer Reach for a dream children a very welcome break
During the first semester each of the seven Varsity College campuses host either a ‘Captain Courage’ or ‘Queen for a Day’ event for children of the Reach for a Dream Foundation. The purpose of these events is to give boys and girls who have been diagnosed with life threatening illnesses a welcome break by spoiling and entertaining them for the day. Students get involved in the co-ordination and hosting of the events, which have become prominent on the Varsity College first semester community outreach calendars. Here are some photos which share the children’s delight.
